He argues that these maps display the institutional structures that keep most artists broke, and shares strategies for spreading the wealth. He also refers to examples of projects that are part of larger solidarity movement which implicitly aim to shift the discussion from artists’ individual responsibilities to the ways in which artist can act collectively.
