Legal issues

The Artlaw column has been published as in Art Monthly since 1976. It aims to bring to the visual arts community in the UK awareness and understanding of the law relating to the visual arts. It also contains dozens of frequently asked questions on all aspects of art and the law such as reputation, fair deals, conservation, artists' estate management etc. and short films on our ArtlawTV channel. It also provides specialist replies to legal queries of visual artists in England.
